As more drones take to the skies over North Carolina in the coming years under new FAA rules and regulations, this webinar will present an overview of current federal and state law and regulation regarding unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones. In addition to recent FAA guidance on the educational use of drones, this presentation will discuss the legal and policy issues a school system should consider when deciding whether to authorize the use of drones in the educational program and on school property.
