In addition to the NCSBT risk management program, NCSBA also offers its members endorsed insurance programs for:

• Boiler & Machinery
  Boiler and machinery broad form comprehensive coverage provides protection for a full range of equipment, including air conditioning, pressure vessels, pumps, refrigeration systems, switchboards and more.
• Student & Athletic Accident
  This program offers several flexible options for obtaining accidental insurance coverage for students and student athletes for accidental injuries that occur during school activities or athletic events.
• Adult Volunteer Accident
  This program offers accidental insurance coverage to adult school volunteers for accidental injuries that occur during their volunteer activities for school systems.

 Special NCSBA Member Benefit

• Accidental Death & Dismemberment Plan
  As a special benefit for Board Members, because your district is a member of the North Carolina School Boards Association, you automatically receive this outstanding membership service-every member of your board is included. You and your fellow board members receive $100,000 in accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) benefits and up to $5,000 in accidental medical expenses that are the result of accidents during the performance of your duties as a school board member. The AD&D plan covers you while you're going to, attending and returning from meetings, workshops, school visits and regional, state and national conventions.  The benefits are payable directly to your estate or anyone you choose.
