Modern technology has given us new tools to communicate more quickly and broadly. In this webinar we will take a look at public school employees’ right to freedom of speech under the U.S. Constitution in the context of this brave new world of the internet, as well as with the growth of social media. It will provide board members with a general understanding of the legal principles that govern the board’s ability to place limitations on employee speech.
