SUMMARY:Fall Law Conference
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Fall Law Conference will take place at the Renaissance Asheville from October 14 through October 16. Sessions are designed for board members\, school administrators\, and board attorneys. The cost is $199 per day. \nThe agenda\, registration\, and hotel reservation information will be shared this summer. Please contact Mariah Lopez at 919.747.6694 or ml****@***ba.org. \nRegistration\nHotel\nActivities will be held at the Renaissance Asheville\, 31 Woodfin St.\, Asheville. \nNCSBA has secured a limited number of rooms for participants. Staff will monitor the block of rooms and work with hotel staff to ensure those with a reservation have actually registered for the conference. Those not registered for the conference will be removed from NCSBA’s room block. A reservation link will be shared this summer. \nCancellation/Refund Requests\nNCSBA understands that plans may change and alter your ability to attend your registered event. The association makes arrangements and incurs expenses in anticipation of your attendance. The following information specifies the refund policy and allowable substitutions for NCSBA conferences and workshops. Requests should be emailed to co************@***ba.org. \n\nFull Refund\nA full refund will be given when a written cancellation request is received 30 calendar days prior to the first day of the event.\nCancellation Fee – $50\nA refund less $50 will be given when a written cancellation request is received less than 30 days and prior to 7 days before the first day of the event.\nSubstitutions\nCancellations made less than 6 days before the first day of the event are not eligible for refunds; however\, substitutions are allowed at any time.\nNo Shows\nCancellation requests received after the first day of the event will not be accepted as the association has performed duties and incurred expenses based on your planned participation.
