PLS Update Service

The PLS update service is an annual subscription service that provides updates to the sample policies in the PLS manual to reflect changes in legal requirements or educational trends.  When appropriate, commentary on the relevant legislation or other legal standards underlying the sample policy and a copy of the legislation, rules or case law are also provided.

Every year, NCSBA provides a policy update package after the General Assembly’s session that includes necessary revisions to existing policies and any new policies required to ensure compliance with changing legislation.

The PLS Update Service offers the updated policies in a downloadable, word-processing format as well as a strikeout version showing all policy modifications.
