Gaston is using technology to challenge the academic achievers in our schools and to motivate the reluctant students to strive for greater outcomes. eResources are reviewed, discussed and acquired to support curricula on every grade level.
“I am extremely impressed by the way Gaston County is integrating technology in the classroom to enhance teaching and learning. While I very strongly believe that nothing will ever and should not replace the printed page, there is a way to connect digital learning with print resources,” said Gaston County Board of Education member Dot Guthrie.
The team of professionals designated to embed technology into classrooms, is confident and gifted to support as well as provide, comfort to classroom teachers as they push out technology initiatives.
Gaston Schools make a concerted effort to recognize students with their own devices and monitors how when bringing these devices to school, they are used in the classroom or designated areas.
