Students at Highland Elementary in Alamance-Burlington Schools turned into Mad Scientists for the Day! Third-grade classes participated in an on-campus field trip related to their science study on matter. Students learned through interactive lessons on States of Matter and Harnessing Heat. They rotated through several stations and participated in hands-on experiments throughout the morning. This is the second year Highland has had Mad Science at their school, and the students really love the interactive exploration of science!
