A broadcasting class at North Iredell High got their whole school involved in making a video they hope will win a national competition.
Michelle Obama is encouraging high school seniors to apply for FAFSA or financial aid and wants to see the process.
The school’s college advisor says she had the idea, but the broadcast class went from there.
“I wrote some lyrics and they really took it off on themselves and created what I think is a really fun video, but also promotes FAFSA completion,” said Cathy Marques.
The winner of the competition will be announced within the next week and the first lady plans to attend that schools graduation.
